Meet Taylor Rodriguez (Cabaniss), the artist and creative heart behind Simpsonville Artist.

Taylor is a self-taught artist, wife, mother of three beautiful girls — Aubrey, Autumn, and Alejandra — and a passionate entrepreneur based in the Upstate of South Carolina. What began as a love for painting has grown into a creative business dedicated to turning meaningful memories, beloved pets, and special moments into one-of-a-kind works of art.

Over the past three years, Taylor has completed more than 260 custom portraits, each carefully hand-painted with its own story, personality, and sentimental value. Her artwork has been featured on the news, and she has had the opportunity to paint live throughout communities in the Upstate, sharing her creativity and connecting with people who appreciate the beauty of original, handmade artwork.

The Life Behind the Paintbrush

Outside of her art studio, Taylor's life is just as full of ambition and creativity.

She is a proud wife and mother of three daughters, Aubrey, Autumn, and Alejandra. Her family plays an important role in her life and continues to inspire her to pursue her goals while building a future for the people she loves most.

Alongside her husband, Alejandro, Taylor also owns and operates Greenville Gala, an event-rental business serving the Upstate. Together, they balance the responsibilities of entrepreneurship, family life, and their individual ambitions.

And while painting will always hold a special place in her heart, Taylor is also preparing for an exciting new journey beyond the canvas.

She is currently taking the necessary steps toward attending flight school and earning her pilot's license, with the ultimate goal of becoming a professional airline pilot. Aviation represents another opportunity for Taylor to challenge herself, learn something entirely new, and work toward a dream that extends far beyond her art studio.

Between creating custom portraits, operating a business with her husband, raising three daughters, and preparing for flight school, Taylor's schedule is rarely quiet. But each pursuit reflects something she values deeply: creativity, determination, family, and the belief that personal growth should never stop.
